Nice! I'd ride with you anytime man. Fresh water doesn't hurt anything at all as long as the vehicle is prepared for it & you own a grease gun. Salt water on the other hand is a different story...& I bet no one that freaks out about your pics would think twice about buying a sand runner from a beach bum.

You've got to have air intake above the waterline, exhaust above the waterline (in case it stalls), all the engine electronics sealed, a way to stop your fan from spinning (electric, remove fan belt or have some way to quick disconnect) & a sealed cab would be a nice touch once you've gone that far. As far as finding EXACT instructions, I don't know of any but Google may lead you somewhere. Personally, unless I had a Marine Corps Hummer I'd just stay out of the deep water.

This can be your new favorite snorkel video Goat.
Thanks a 40 Series Land Cruiser I think, its pretty blurry. So I guess that means that "Jeeps with snorkels that rule" are really Toyotas.

And must have a lot of spare change.... As well as parents that hopefully never see their posts. :-)

Looks like fun to me, I just don't have the kind of $$$ to deal with what happens if the snorkel fails, or the hours necessary to clean up the bearings and diffs..
