86 yota 4WD signal light & high speed eng. missing problem
Have a 86 yota that I just flatbedded. Removed out bed lights and replaced them. Old lights were working fine before being disconnected. Hooked up new lights and now left blinker not working. Buzzes when put on blinker. Right blinker and hazard lights work fine. Remove left kick panel and flasher relay is causing buzzing noise. Don't know how to remove it. Tried pulling it out, but won't let go. Is there clips or something holding it or do I just need to pull and work it loose?
Also, put in a radio and now brake and alternator lights stay on all the time. Does anyone have a suggestion for this?
Final problem- have a missing in engine at about 50 mph. Misses badly when try to give it more gas. Can let of accelerator and ease into it to let it try to level out. Still misses, but not as bad. 1st thru 4th gear, no miss, but when shifted to 5th and at 50mph, bad running miss. Open for suggestions.
Thanks for any suggestions.

For the flasher unit - It should be under the dash by the steering column and held in by a tab. If you changed the type of lights in the back of the truck (IE: LEDS) you will need to replace the factory flasher(thermal) to an electronic controlled flasher. The electronic flasher assembles can deal with variable loads.
For the dash lights - mostly probable cause is a wire crossed of grounded with stereo install.

86 yota light issue
Thanks for the info. I did go to LED lights for signals. The only thing I don't understand is behind the kick panel, it says flasher on the relay. I have not looked to see if there is a different one under the steering column. I am out in the Gulf of Mexico on a oil rig now and will look at this when I get home.
