3.0 PS Pump... rebuild or replace

is it worth the extra $$$ to buy a new one? how tough is it to put a new seal kit in?

$80 at NAPA with Lifetime Warranty. I believe thats a new one too. not reman.

is it that huge of a pain to fix, or the price difference isn't worth the effort?

It isn't difficult at all to replace the seals. If you chose to do it yourself, it is much easier if you don't remove the pulley. The shaft can easily be removed with the pulley still on.

Mine was leaking from the canister which is bolted onto the pump, there is a o-ring that goes to the connecter that might be damage so all you need is a new o-ring on to it and also put some RTV around outside of the 0-ring sit then it should be fine, but if your pump is damage then replace it.
