2nd gen 4runner trailer wiring
So it appears that Hoppy does not make a plug and play trailer wiring harness for a 2nd gen 4runner anymore. Are there any other options besides a universal splice in kit?

Nope, they don't make one for the 4Runner. I have something that may be of interest to you, meaning, I did an install of this exact thing last week. I'll find the link.

just dont do what the PO of my Surf did! to get wires to he back for the trailer, they had almost broken ALL the inside panel clips so the could put the wires behind the panels when they could have just put them under the carpet. Good luck with your install.
