1993 Pickup rear lift springs

I'm sticking with my 31's for the next few months until after I ETS from the Army and drive 1,100 miles home. Then I'm selling off the relatively new 31 BFG ATs and putting 33's on then upping the lift another half inch to get an even 3".
Its not about tire clearance or any of that, I simply want to lift it the 2.5 inches for a more agressive stance. The 31" road tires look fine at stock height, but after adding cragar d-windows and knobbier BFG ATs, the stock height looks too docile. So some balljoint spacers and rear lift springs are what im looking for.

what about doing a zuk mod? i invested $20 in some jeep springs off craigslist. i did the no cut install, took less than an hour, and i after trimming the spring down to size allowing me to get a nice level stance.

Okay so to my understanding, you jack your leaf spring to an artificial "hang" with a bottle jack and stick a jeep spring in there on the bump stops and remove the jack...its so seedy and slipshod, I love it.
What does that do to your old ass leaf springs though?

for Zuk-mod, you leave your old leafs in place and it basically just assists them by sharing the load = less sagging. the concept is basically like what airbags do - allow more weight to be carried without dropping height too much. if you get taller springs you possibly might achieve lift over stock, but i doubt it since there is still a limit to the arch of the stock leaf - it's more for people trying to get back to stock height from "saggy butt syndrome". i think it's a very clever solution, but not something i'd personally want on my rig for extended time because it looks so hokey and is really a temporary solution - plus, they might not get you the additional height you're looking for.
btw, is your rear end sagging now? my truck was when i bought it and was noticeably lower than the front. i got new leafs because i needed to haul stuff and not ride the bump stops each time, not necessarily for looks. the price you found on those OME leafs is pretty good - i remember paying like $150/ea for mine about 5yrs ago from TRDParts4U.
as for tires - i ran 31s on my 93 with both stock suspension and with the 2" lift (BJ spacers + OME leafs) -- with 31s/stock the look is pretty much the same as 33s/2" lift in terms of gap between tire and fender -- below are some pics to give you an idea of what it'll look like. i think axle center to fender lip measures 22.5" f/r if you need a measurement.
here's my truck with 31s/OME lift:
here it is with 33s - only difference is front is maybe 0.5-1" higher because tires rubbed and i had to adjust and trim a little -- now the rear needs the same via shackle lift IMO:

i got 3" of lift in the rear after trimming the spring down twice. i had 5" lift just cutting one coil off the jeep spring. its a cheap and effective way to lift the rear.

Yes, highonpottery, that is the exact look I'm going for. Just a slight lift. (guys already ask me if my truck is lifted anyhow) I like the effectiveness of the Zuk mod, but its just not for me. It looks so cheap and temporary and I really dont need it as my truck sits just fine now.

from where it was sagging. the rear was 1" lower than the front, so with the bj spacers and 2" of actual lift i got my truck level. if you didn't cut the springs down, i would imagine you could get 4-5" of lift, but your leaf spring would almost be in the shape of a U. if i were going for any more lift beyond leveling the rear after bj spacers, i wouldn't do a zuk. i'd bite the bullet and buy some lift leaf springs.

I ordered my OME springs from 4WheelParts.com. They don't list them on the site but they are an OME dealer. You have to call to order. The part number is OME-CS009R for the springs, and OME-SB6 for the bushings. You MUST order 2 of each, they are not sold in pairs. With free shipping, I paid $249.96 for the springs and bushings. After settling in for a couple weeks it sits level with my 1.5" BJ spacers and stock adjusted t-bars. If anything the rear is about half an inch higher but it's hard to tell for sure. Ride is stiffer than stock for sure but not bad. I haven't had a chance to take it wheeling yet but I'm hoping to find out soon.

^Try running without your swaybar if you still have it on. I took mine off after experiencing the same as you and no regrets. Ride is better and smoother offroad too. On road body roll didn't really change too much until I triangulated my shocks/ubolt flip but still not even a concern. I can't even imagine riding on the HD leafs while unloaded.
