1987 toyota 22r weber throttle linkage
Hey guys, I'm back with more questions. I removed the stock carburetor and installed my new 32/36 weber. I messed up my redline adapter plate and ordered an adapter plate from transdapt http://www.jegs.com/i/Trans-Dapt/969...rentProductId=
now my carb sits too high to use any of the stock throttle cable linkage, the bracket sits too low and it seems like it also needs to move over a bit, from the firewall to the front of the engine. Is there an easier throttle linkage setup, a little more universal or do I have to have someone fabricate these pieces to fit my truck? Thx in advance

Looks like once again, I answered one of my own questions. I'll post some pics if anybody ran into the same problem I did. I justed used bigger steel spacers, longer bolts for the bracket and I used a couple washers to push the u bracket out a bit further to reach the j arm thing on the cable.
