Tire Size and Gear question with no lift
OK, so far I have 5.29 gears and Lockrites front and rear, No lift and trimmed fenders.
Was planning on running 32's untill I got a little lift and T-case gears.
Now I have a set of 37" tires and would like to run them at river rock, am I going to have power issue's and how much cutting will be needed to fit them.

What year truck?
5.29's are a lot of gear for 32's.
I really don't think you'll be able to run 37's without a lift without some major sheet metal remodeling.

You will need a ton of lift to fit 37s. 5" minimum and they will still rub.
5.29 are perfect for 37s. Total overkill for 32s!

yea, if you're not gonna be on the interstate at all, it would just mean extra power, and you proabably wouldn't even want to start in first most of the time on the road.

37's should be fine with the 5.29's that what Im running as well. BUT you will need ALOT more trimming to clear them. I have the ALL-PRO 5" Extreme lift kit and still need to trim(most of it in the back and pounding back on the front wheelwells. You sound local? Atlanta? If so, your welcome to check out my 85 on 37's. Otherwise...if I can finish up some projects on it in time...I will see you at River rock. Look for the rig in my avitar.
