power window regulator options?

4 kinds of windows, manual with vent, manual without, power with vent, power with no vent. Of all 4 I think power with vent must be the most rare, because it took me a few years to turn a set of regulators with motors up at my favorite bone yard. Problem is that at least of of the regulators is worn out. The part numbers are 69802-89110 and 69801-89110. Can't get them from the dealer, what I find at parts supply houses and ebay are 69802-35070 and 69801-35070 which they show as an interchange. By the number they fit 89-91 trucks though. Anyone know if these later regulators will go in an 85? Maybe some slight mods?

Ahh, but I have a magic boneyard, they never crush out. usauto has manual regulators for one piece windows for less than $10. That's a deal, but unfortunately they don't have the oddball I'm after!

To follow up I got a pair of the later regulators which do work. You have to drill an additional hole in the rear of the bracket that attaches to the glass as the ones on the regulator are too close together. You also need to bend or break off a small finger tab in the same area. Cheapest was here, listed for a 90-92 4runner. http://www.am-autoparts.com/Toyota/4...09/516771.html
Now to figure out what's supposed to stop the glass when it goes down. There must be a stop of some sort that I didn't get off the truck I salvaged the regulators and motors from.
