If you get a header definately go with an LCE or Thorley. I got a Pacesetter and it was not worth the cheaper price, the performance increase is nice but I had to do a lot of fabbing to make it work.

Thanks boys. I'm patiently waiting to hear back from Swimmerboy2112. He has a sale pending, I'm next in line. Canback is really the only soft top I want. My cousin helped in the initial design process and was their welder for a while. That was a long time ago....I want the ability to put a rack on to store gear on top. I don't think any other manufacture offers that.

Well after searching for a while, I finally found an unmolested 85'. Priced right at $2k, minimal rust, body has a couple of dings but the interior is in good shape. I love not having carpet in this one. I'm bummed it doesn't have the display clock, split rear seat and the corner triangle windows up front(my wife hates them). All and all, I'm really stoked with this purchase. I can mod it how I want, not someone else's dream.
