pinion preload?

how do you set pinoin preload? it says to set it at 12-15 in. pounds. is that before it moves or as its moving. i'm lost

www.gearinstalls.com is a good reference tool for Toy axles too.

Although Google is a valuable source of information, occasionally, info posted on the internet is not correct. I see Scuba posts a lot and certainly knows more than most about our trucks, however, I assume ajoebob came to yotatech for the type of expertise and experience available only here. Just my .02

I did find the reply amusing non the less.

...Zuk's site will offer you the best info...read all about coast and load...nice little patterns in the yellow paint. Get it wrong and you will have a grenade go off
