where the vent filter on the valve cover is should be a line into the air cleaner box?

the hose barb fitting I am talking about should look similar to this. Also I was thinking right about that bvsv, if there is a vacuum line on top of that, then you have to loop a hose or cap them off. You can see that bvsv in this photo as well. Sorry about that confusion:
this is where the distributor vacuum line should go yours might be slightly different because mine is an 87. I have mine going into the original vacuum rail hard line but that goes to the distributor:

and the back loose line in the valve cover goes where? there should be a hose barb between the carb and valve cover in the manifold.
and the one going from the dist. cap into the cab is right? As long as it's going directly into the carb YES
lol sorry im just kinda lost in this. No Problem, I know how it is trying to work behind someone else that may not have known what they were doing. I feel sorry for the next guy who gets my truck. LMAO

if you have a vacuum line that is attached to the top of it yes.
I think I know what you are talking about with the distributor cap now, never seen that done before but ok. lol.

you have the PCV valve there already in the right spot on the back of the valve cover the other side of that line goes to that brass piece that I showed you in the photo. The front with the filter goes to the bottom of the air cleaner.
