Norcal snow wheeling

Went with a group yesterday up Icehouse Rd. We played on some spurs and then tried to get to the Con via Wentworth Springs where we ran into some deep powder. You could not have asked for a better group or conditions. Here are some my better pics. Yes everyone of the Tacos in the pics is SASed on 35's or 37's. There's something to be said for wheeling with experienced guys in capable rigs. We only pulled out the strap a handful of times.

Ford Recovery.. These idiots were all alone with no shovel and decided to make their own trail out through a field.

Icehouse Lake

What we found at the Wentworth turn off

Breaking trail over the berm

It got deep towards airport flats

Mike and the gang after almost getting ran over by the plow

I think Chris had the most fun of all

Video of a Taco plowing snow

And the end to a perfect day.. the most spectacular sunset I've seen in a while

Nice pics Joey! I can't wait to be back home in the summer and go wheelin, I'm hoping to be able to make it over the Con this summer. If all goes right 4.7's, 33's and a Detroit are on their way this summer!
