Oil pan removal, diff drop with shafts possible?

i got a 02 3rz 4x4 with the oil pan leaking at the welded extension on the pan. Is it possible to drop the diff low enough to get the pan out without removing the cv shafts from the wheels?

You can pull that plug out, push the pin back through the connector and re-crimp it. You will need a small screw driver to push a little tab down to allow the pin to come backwards.

My 2 cents its piston slap. My hondas do it too when cold. Im in ontario and the colder it is, the longer the sound lasts. Cold for me is -20 to -30C, thats like 235F?..?? ;)

Yes they are different. If you go to marlin crawlers web site he documents installing the different engines and what the differences are. Mostly has to do with the ignition and wiring.

If you are sure its the TC i would go get one out of the wreckers. I built automated machines for making TC (welding them together) and they are finicky to make. I would not trust non OEM.

The ecu grounds the injector to fire it. So your 12v on both wires is right. It is hard to tell if the injector is firing, but you can usually hear them or feel with a screw driver or something...

You dont need the same ecu number But manual/auto are different (auto will work with some modifying) and there are 2 differnt plug types from 89-95. 92ish they changed but you will get mix and match...
