Cell Phone/SAT Radio Mount

I was looking at this for the last couple days now and have been thinking about ordering one.

There is no drilling or taping and might be the quickest solution I have found yet, just wanted to see what you folks thought.

Thanks again. (Hope I put this in the right section)

Well I ordered it and it was somewhere around $39.00 with shipping and I also ordered a backing plate from GBX Direct with 4 screws/locking nuts which was another $7.00 with shipping.

See link and picture below for adaptor/backing plate:

http://www.gbxdirect.com/store/amps_adapter_plates.php

I will do a write up when I get everything and if I can do the wiring, otherwise off to Circuit City to have them do the AUX or FM Modulator (I am horrible with wiring even if it is plug-in-play.).

I placed my order yesterday and DHL dropped off the mount today! Talk about great service and fast shipping!

I will take a few pictures when the other adaptor comes in I ordered from the other company.

cool beans!

I mounted a proclip for my treo 650 in my tacoma... took the swivel thing apart, drilled a small hole in the 'airbag switch blank' (the blank where the airbag switch is in non dcab tacoma's). super clean, and I can see the screen on my phone when running gps

David (Mad Chemist here on the forum) has one of these. I haven't seen it in person, but it looks... "lobsterish", kinda' big and angley.
