88 pickup suspension lift
I want to lift my 88 single cab pickup about 4" and add 33" m/ts. What is the best suspension lift for a moderate offroader. I do not plan to do any sort of rock crawling primiarly just mud running and trail riding. I first looked at rough country but I would like to go with a leaf spring swap or aal. I didnt want to spend the money on a skyjacker but I would rather pay more for a better lift that is gonna last me. Also I still have the IFS. Any suggestions?
Also with getting M/Ts what is the best one with the longest or relatively good tread wear?

No need for a 4" lift to fit 33s unless you just want the 4" lift:

You can do 1.5" - 2" up front with ball joint spacers

and then in back shackles or add-a-leaf springs as you see fit:

If you stick with a 33x10.50 tire on the stock wheels, should fit fine with that. With 12.50 tires, especially on 8" rims, you may need some fender trimming or a mild body lift. All depends on how bad the tires rub (if any) and what sort of driving you do. That '94 pickup above has some minor tire rubbing, has trimmed fenders as much as reasonable and the tires just rub on the outer lugs in sharp turns and only with new tread. After a few thousand miles of driving, the tread wears down to the point it no longer rubs.
