CV joints are fine, I mean the ball joint on the spindle that connects to the upper control arm. That one is bent past its normal operating range, and allegedly if you get the front end off the ground too fast or too hard (jumping it) the shock will droop far enough and hard enough to shear the ball joint. I don't plan on doing that but the angle that it is at when sitting level is pretty bad. However a bunch of folks have run this much lift without trouble and I don't plan on beating it that hard.

BTW, remember how I said I heard something on that tree - you guys were looking at the top for the contact, I kissed it on the fender right by the back passenger wheelwell, did a little number didn't see it till the rain cleaned it off today.

Yeah it's those little battle scars that make me wish my 4Runner hadn't rusted away. Not too excited to have those things happen to the Tundra.

put spacers on, seems to do the trick. now i just rub on the frame at full lock, no big deal really, seemed fine on the street when I took it around the block. I'm going to take it back to that place in ft pierce tomorrow and flew it out and see what else hits.

Everything worked great, treadwright mud tires in the Goodyear MTR knockoff pattern were pretty impressive. Almost sank it right away tooling around in 2WD. Hit some of the water holes and they were all pretty shallow, then the next one dropped off real quick, almost in water over the hood, threw it in 4WD and reverse and got out. Scared myself because the passenger side dropped down real far and thats where the intake is. Everything was wet under the hood but hard to tell if that was from being submerged or just spray. Really an eery sound of water rushing into places its not supposed to be, sounded like water running through household plumbing. Door seals work great though, didnt have any water come in the cabin and the passenger door was probably halfway under water.
No problem stuffing the 285s all the way up in the fenderwell with no rear lift

Ah, Yes all dirt bikes are cool, there is a fun factor no matter what the size. I guess I am little green (not kawasaki) with envy, I miss my KTM 300, now theres a woods bike. That is a nice looking bike though.

since your staying in florida a little longer, any new mods made?
Ready to go back to that spot and see if we can get in and to the woods without getting noticed?
Want to hit those trails up in the Daylight soon man, i won't hve my kids for the next 3 weeks after this weekend, so one weekend we down?

Update on the truck man - your on the Complete other side of the US now and in snow while i enjoy the sand and sun - went to the Key's last weekend actually - and lets see those cell pic's you've been sending me full size
