nice truck,mine looks the same (93 pickup) dont have to worry about any future scratches or dents, i used to live on Eielson, nice not having body inspections up there. i need to find me a rig like that here. im actually trying to trade mine for a beat up tundra.

Like I said. I DO love this truck. Still only 2wd, but have been getting around JUST fine without 4wd. Some intersections are a pain, but not a problem.
The front ABS is not working. It needs new rotors and pads. Probably get that this weekend.
I ordered some new taillights. Alteza something or others. Bling-bling. I couldnt find any stock replacements on EBAY that would ship to Alaska. Only blinging styles. Haha. Oh well. The driver's side taillight is actually another passenger's side duct taped in. Looks like crap. Its been freakin warm here the last 3 weeks. Above zero mostly. A few -5F at night. Only having to let it warm-up for like 5 minutes. Getting about 120 miles 10-11 gallons
Its nice having a vehicle thats not leaking every freakin fluid....

The only chip I know of that does anything is the Unichip and they go for like 900 new.....that's more than a new truck for you! or looking a different way - you'd double the value of your truck!

I dig first gen Tundra's - even T3 replicas are cool!

Just a few more recent pictures I havent done anything cosmetically besides New taillights. Replaced the brake pads and rotors last weekend. Bought a front driveshaft from one of the salvage yards and sourced a front diff from them that would have to be shipped up from Anchorage. Will put me back $600. Luckily I am getting a $600 bonus from work this next pay check. Connected the battery heater in to the plugs. Can't decide if I need a trans heater pad or not. Once I start it to warm-up, I just put it in neutral and the trans heats up just fine. Its currently -30F to -40F here right now. Was -45F last night. Had a rough start this afternoon after sitting all night (plugged in, but still).





There is a little over 300 lbs in the bed. 4, 60-ish-lb sand bags and 4, 25-ish-lb pallets.


Passenger's side brake pad. Chunk missing and significantly more uneven wear than the other 3.

Bed bob of probably 12-16 inches. Rear roll bar tied into the frame. 33-35" tires. Not positive about the roof basket. She has a long ways to go. I still need to get my 4x4 fixed :\

I would love to find a running driving v8 tundra for $800. Rolled or not. Flat bed, tube doors and a whole bunch of flat (insert fav color here) rattle cans..

Although using tube doors in -anything degrees is dumb.

Well it gets up in to the 80s in the summer. I wouldnt want tube doors just for the fact that it has electric locks and windows; wouldnt want to have to deal with all the wires.
