Front shock replacement, no lift

I was wondering if any of you tundra guys have replaced your shocks in front while maintaining your stock coils/ride height. If you did, did you just got OEM, or did you get something aftermarket?

thanks,
Ian

I will be on my 3d set soon, just waiting for some free time. My old stock shocks didn't go out. I just wanted to upgrade. I had tokico(black), now bilsteins(yellow/blue), and the next set which I already have awaiting install are IS bilsteins(red/blue) which are the same as the hd bilsteins(yellow, blue). Mine are all oem.

So you get them from the dealer? About how much are you paying per set?
Do you get them just for the front, or as a set of four?

Thanks,
Ian

You can get factory length bilstiens for your truck. Try performance products. They have good deals on the shocks that you need. If you want a stock squishy ride stay away from bilsteins. If you want the best handling truck the bilsteins are the way to go.

I'm a member of TS and bought most of my stuffs from Carson Toyota in CA when they have sales. I buoght the shocks in a set of 4. The oem yellow/blue bilsteins I got off of ebay for $125 and the oem IS red/blue bilsteins I got from Carson for $200 that lists for $300+ and I also got a set of IS rims for $399 which lists for $800 at the same time and 2yr ago I bought the IS body kit from them for $600, which lists for about $2200. I usually wait for good deals or a sale. Performance Product does have bilsteins for sale and they are the hd bilsteins which is the same as my oem red/blue IS bilsteins.
