These mats suck.... I had some in my rig about a year ago and they started to rip only after a few months. I can't remember if it was here or on the TTORA board that others also had the same problem. I recommend getting the Husky liners, works a heck of a lot better than the crappy Yota all-weather mats.

Don't know about the Yota mats, but I've had WeatherTech's in my rig for almost the whole time I've owned it...over 4 1/2 years. There is only slight depression where my right foot rests...but are in otherwise EXCELLENT shape. IMO, these are some of the best out there. When they get dirty, just blast 'em at the car wash, let 'em dry, spray on some stuff to make them look good (I like Wet n' Black), toss 'em back in and away you go. Can't go wrong with these...

I had some in my Tacoma. They are made of thick rubber and the drivers side has a hole for the hook which is nice. The problem with mine is they ripped in between the ribs letting water seep through to the carpet. Not sure how long they lasted before that happened. I just bought some Husky liners from the good reviews I read on here. They are made of a thin plastic-like material, have a lip around the edges to keep dirt off the carpet, are molded to fit each vehicle, and have a lifetime warranty which is nice.

The thing I like about the husky's is they hold about 1/2" of water so it doesnt run off the mat and into the carpet!

I had a set in my '97 for over a year and now they're in my '99 and they work and look great. "4Runner" logos up front and the "T" on the rear set.
I guess they might be hit and miss with the quality but mine have no signs of any damage and they've now got 14 months of use on 'em.

Spend your money on Weathertechs
I've had the Toyota Mats for 2 years - same problem as mentioned earlier - splitting btwn the ribs.
I too would go with the Weathertechs - had them in previous cars and were great. |

I have Huskys and they haven't failed me yet. You can pick them up from Performance Products for like... um... $50-ish... give or take a few.
