Truly Automatic Rear Window

I'm not talking about powered, I mean automatic like the driver side power window where if you push down and hold it goes all the way. What I would like is to have a rear window that went up and down that way and even hook that up to my key fob so I would nevere need a key to do it. Anyone ever done this or even know how to?

I am looking for a module with this function too, just never got around to doing it. this is what i found after a quick search, I am not sure if it lets you stop the window halfway though, only says one touch up and down.

That is like what I want, but I don't want to lose the ability to raise and lower like it does already, or like you said "half way". Any way to find out if that is possible?

4th Gens have rear windows that will go up and down all the way automatically. Or you can stop it part way wherever you want it. The key FOB also has a window down button on it, not up tho. Maybe you can get the parts to make it work?

Im sure it would be easier to just use an aftermarket module like I linked to, just call the website up, or email them, and ask them if it still allows normal operation, I would think it does, but just to make sure. I would think trying to make an OEM part work with an older truck would be hard and more expensive.

I know the clifford alarms offer that module, but that means installing a new alarm. Check the12volt.com they should have some good stuff about it....I know they explain how to wire up the relays to give the auto function for sure.

the only problem with wiring it up yourself with relays, is that they do not have load sensing. The other modules have load sensing, so when the window reaches the top, it will automatically stop giving power. You could hook up an automatically resetting circuit breaker with the relays somehow, and then the breaker would trip when the window reaches the top, and it would reset automatically. I can explain it more if your interested.
