this sucks

I was driving back to work from a service call when i noticed my rig became hard to turn. At first I thought my ps pump went out, but when I pulled over I noticed my belt was off. After further inspection I found a pulley ring on my skid plate. This sucks. This ring goes on the lower pulley assembly for the ps belt. i think its the crankshaft pulley, correct me if i'm wrong. my question is, is this ring a seperate piece or do i need the whole thing. also can i get it at a part store. help!

That sounds similar to something that happened to a friend of mines Jeep, his harmonic balancer came apart. If I am not misunderstanding you I think you need the whole thing. You might take it to an autoparts store and show them. We got a new harmonic balancer at AutoZone and rented the puller we needed too.
