also, can anyone recommend a good sub? thats a 4 channel amp, so i want it to have its own amp.
i want to draw all the bass out of the speakers to rid the entire system of rattles and distortion.
any suggestions would be great.

Check out Image Dynamics. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for w/subs and woofers.

might want to try the audio section...
From what I can tell you get what you pay for in subs. I'd rather have one good 12 or even 10" than two crappy 12s. but thats just me, I'm quality over quanity. Eclipse makes some kick ass subs. Go listen to all of them, they all sound different and have different voices. If you don't really care you just want something to get those lower notes get a RF P2. Not the best on the market but I like mine, hits PLENTY hard on not a lot of power (300w).
Nice install btw! looks good and clean!

Infinity Bass Link
Ckeck out Ebay for a powered Infinity Bass Link, or a powered SAS Bazooka 10" tube sub, for the price and ease of installation they sound really good. Or you could build a custom box and buy an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 or 12" SUB that would really pound!! I have a Kappa Perfect 12" in a smaller sealed box in my Saabs trunk that is driven with a Sony 1 Ohm drive Mobile ES amp "the older ones that were the best Sony ever built" it freaking POUNDS.
