Silicone Shield by AMSOIL
This is a discontinued brand by AMSOIL to polish and protect your vehicle. I don't know why it was discontinued, for good reason or for bad.
It does have petrolleum distillates in it, and it says it "forms a bond" with the non-porous surface and has detergents to remove old wax, etc.
Of course, the main ingredient is the silicone, and it takes 24-48 hours until the next wash to let the Silicone Shield harden.
Any opinions on Silicone Shield by AMSOIL? You can't find it on their website anymore. Also, can it get old?
I got it for free by an old AMSOIL dealer (I am one myself) since I was buying some Food-Grade Silicone to keep my aging rubber parts soft and pliable and protected from UV rays.
Thanks for your help and input!
Any further info can be sent to alohatiger121@hotmail.com
