Safety Cancel Switch
Yet another silly question from me. What is the safety cancel switch for? The guy who had the truck before me apparently disabled it. Seeing as I have no owners manual for it I have no clue.

The only other thing that comes directly to mind is if you have the e-locker, and he disable the 5 mph engage and/or the 4wd required safties to turn the locker on?? Anybody else?

I think you're referring to the "clutch start cancel" button. That button allows you to start the vehicle without pushing in the clutch when it is is neutral. Simply turn the key to accessories then hit the button put it in neutral then turn the key all the way, and it shoudl fire right up. Not sure if that's what you are talking about, but it's the only thing I can think of.

If you are on a steep hill with the engine off, you can start up again smoothly without having to drop the clutch and floor the gas. It makes it so much easier to start uphill. No rolling backward, no bombing the clutch, no spinning the tires.
