Sweet runner but forest? Looks more like a state park! Bet you had to chase the picknickers away to get a picture. J/k Is your 4runner always that clean? Mine usually is and I catch so much crap for it! Not clean now (see went ofroading today in trip section)!

yea i pretty much always keep it clean. mainly just enjoying the opportunity before the winter hits.

in winter, its impossible to keep clean, but i wash her about once every couple of weeks, sometimes more depending on the salt levels on the road.

i catch crap for it too... my friends think i have o.c.d. about the cleanliness of my truck

i know thats not a forest, its basically the outer edge of one. the main route through the trees over the brush was blocked off due to flooding from the weekend before or something.

oh well.. theres always next time.

i know, i want some new tires real bad! too bad theres the whole "needing money" thing. stupid consumerism.

on my paint, i just used a meguires deep cleaner/swirl remover (it did NOT remove the swirls, but did clean the paint very well) and a meguires polish.

GO SOX!

Lee, great shots! I'll tell you, New England has the best Fall colors of anywhere in the country.

For swirl removal on Toyota 202 Black, the best method I've tried that really works is a Porter-Cable random orbital buffer and Griot's polish followed by their wax. My last Cruiser was 202 Black and full of swirls from commercial car washes by the prior owner. It became a swirl-free mirror shine. Oh yeah, avoid the Meguiars pro products like Fine Cut Cleaner with the P-C on a non-clearcoat finish like 202.

thanks for the tip -- would the griots polish work as well if applied by hand?

i live in an apt, and have no means of plugging in an orbital buffer
