rear dif

I just lifted my truck 4 inches and put 33x12.5 on it but i still have stock gears. Since the lift and tires my rear end has been makin noise. Sound familiar??? Is it carrier bearings, pinion bearings...?? Wasnt planning on doin gears and lockers for a while but sounds like it will be alot earlier.

What sort of lift?

What sort of truck?

It is certainly possible that your rear driveshaft angle is too steep and the u-joints and getting pissed at eachother.

It is highly unlikely that the lift suddenly destroyed the rear end, but I suppose anything is possible.

Alternatively, in the course of putting the lift on, you may have disconnected the driveshafts and reinstalled them with the u-joints out of phase.
