Milestone Reached

Today, my 1996 4Runner passed the 200,000 mile mark. This truck is unbelievable. It runs as well as the day we bought it and, thanks to the YotaTech community, looks even better.

Good looking ride. Keep it maintained and you should get another 200K.

That's a whole lotta driving in just 9 years! I always liked that color of your 4Runner, don't see too many like it. Congrats!

Awesome...the 3.4 has proven to be a reliable motor.

As for me, I have another 3k to go!

Awesome! Looks great!

Here is my 97 which has 198K. It looks and runs better than my 96 (which has 86K).

It just goes to show you how long these will last and how great they will look if you take care of them. By the way, I am selling the 97 if anyone is interested. PM me.

We bought this 4Runner from Toyota with about 75,000 mile on it in January of 2000. The only item that kept it from becoming Toyota Certified Pre-Owned was the mileage itself. Everything else checked out. In the five years since then, we've put another 125,000 mile on it. It's now my daily driver and sees a round trip of 120 miles weekdays. It certainly does not show its age or mileage.

I'd by another one tomorrow.

I am currently asking $7950. The thing is mint, seriously. A stack of dealer receipts and a very anal previous owner should add to its appeal. The thought crossed my mind to keep it and sell mine, but I just could not go through all the mod reversal that would be involved.

Oh well. It's been in the Auto Trader for just over a week. We'll see what happens.

Dude...that's a great price, and the thing seems like it's in awesome shape. It's exactly what I want, I just wish it had fewer miles Wonder how much longer it'll run for...
