LED tail lights, brake light yes, tail light no

Hey guys,
Really looking for help, I have LED tail lights, bought them from eBay as a whole new tail light unit. They came pre wired with LEDs installed. Exactly like these
These have worked for about 4-5 months, now the drivers side one has no working tail Light, but a working brake light. I have searched here on yotatech, I don't have bulbs to replace since they are LEDs. I do have the stock tail light assemblies to try and test. I have not done that yet, also checking in the afternoon if I have power to socket. I know both the 3rd brake light and license plate blubs are also wired to drivers side tail light. They join at junction box 14, maybe there's a problem there? I also put a new speakers and speaker wire in my rig, and the tail lights worked for weeks after that. Checked the relay and the fuses in the engine bay, not sure what else to check.

So it turns out that, I had a remote starter installed by car toys and they did a bad job crimping cables into the remote start. I had to pay a crap ton of money for a secondary electric shop to tell me this! Be fore warned, now that everything is crimped the right way I have tail lights and the remote starter working!

I don't want to be a d*ck, but this is why you solder connections and splices whenever, wherever you can. Yes, even a bad solder joint can fail, but hedge your bets and all that stuff. Glad you got it figured out easily enough!

That's good glad you got it fixed. Crimp conectors work great and are very reliable if you use good quality like T&B and use a ratchet crimper. It just boils down to taking pride in ones work and car toys sucks big time there motto is... Fast, half ass, it will pass.

Well i didnt install it, a professional company with a big name "car toys" totally blew my nuts. wont ever go back!

Also if anyone is in Colorado avoid Lakewood Auto Electric, charged me 700 for some random short in the wiring harness behind the gauges that wouldn't allow me to start. Byrant could not tell me where just how much i need to pay. further more i get it back and i have the tail light problem...reason for this thread to start with. DO NOT go to lakewood auto electric WHAT A JOKE!!!
