Info on NUKE discos please

I've read a little about these here, but I wonder if there's a website. I have a link for the Lars version, just want to do a little comparison (mostly because I'm pretty sure I read that the Nukes don't require any drilling).

thanks,
Ian

Nuke is not making his disconnects anymore. If you do a search here or on TTORA you will find several posts about why and who is supposed to be making them now.

If you can track them down they must be good. Schafer is running them. And he knows his stuff.

Lars' are better than Nukes. Lars' heims are larger, the shaft is stronger, they look to be slightly adjustable length, and he uses a better clip. The heims on my Nuke discos are badly worn with a lot of play in them just due to daily use.

I just did, the box is at my moms house (where you shipped it) so I haven't even had a chance to look-she just phoned yesterday and said it had come.
I'll hit up ebay tonight to thank you.

Thanks, add that to their lack of availabilty and it looks like its Mr. Dennert's design for me!

Thanks. Yeah, it was fine. No damage. Just part of the trail. It's a fun obstacle called "White Knuckle Hill" on the "Behind the Rocks" trail in Moab. Done it 3 times. Gets more enjoyable and fun each time.

Moab= roller coaster+ skill
I can only imagine the fun it is, to bad we have nothing like that here in hawaii. All we got is the Top Truck Challange. Which is strickly left to the hard core, pipe buggy crawlers. I would love to do it, but I can't afford to fix what ever breaks in the process.

As everyone else has said... Nuke isn't making the discos anymore... but he's "liscensed" the design out to a 4x4 fab shop (I forget the name). I called them 2 weeks ago about Nuke's discos... they said they totally revamped the design, and would be producing them late this fall.

Front Range Off Road is suppose to be making the "Nuke" replacements. I got basically the same info from them a couple of months ago as Jacksonpt did. "They are in the works and keep checking back." I went with Lar's and I'm very happy with them.
