Indestructable water pump
So after my Valentine's Day massacre of the 4runner I was slowly fixing things to stop the loudness from the engine. After the alternator and clutch fan bearing I decided the last thing causing the noise was the water pump. Well its at a trusted mechanic right now and after tearing the front end down he's assuring me there's no leaks or anything wrong for that matter, it was instead my radiator and a/c bearing. Very odd indeed considering the water pump has 227,000 miles on it. Anyone heard of this? I thought this was the dive that would do it in but I guess I was wrong

well i guess a congrats is on order that you were able to resolve the sound coming from ur engine bay. Ya ive heard of some water pumps that have been used for over 250k miles though i changed mine when i did the timing belt to be more reassured. I think that is quite odd that the water pump is still in great working order after the dive that u put the front end through.
