The deepest gearing went on the newer gen trucks is 4.56, they have a part number for a 4.56 elocker, but i've never seen anybody or heard of anybody with a stock 4.56 elocker.

My truck did come with 4.56's though, shoulda caught me up a couple of weeks ago i was selling a 4.88 elocker

gotta also remember the stock toyota 4.88 diffs can only run stock toyota 4.88 gearing.

They have a weird offset and thickness of gear.

Does anyone know of a thread showing how to swap an ADD factory 4.88 IFS chunk into a non-ADD, manual hub IFS vehicle? I hear of people doing it in the rear a lot and I've heard its possible in the front but I can't find a write up on it and I'm supposed to go get factory 4.88 front end next week, want to make sure. Thanks!

just a couple of bolts and pull the add tube off of it and put your manual hub tube on it, easy swap.
