FTC1 Connections

I'm gettin' ready to connect my FTC1. I gotta tell ya I'm a little hesitant cutting into the ECU harness and soldering. I can solder OK, but my finished product prolly wouldn't impress anyone.

Anybody have any last minute ARM/FTC1/soldering tips? Thanks.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with using insulated crimps as long as they are installed and crimped properly. It's kind of a PITA to solder in that area of the truck. I've used crimps for years with ZERO problems.

I installed my SMT-5 using crimps.
