Question Free O2 Sensor

Did a search here and found that some model year service manuals offer free oxygen sensor at 80,000 miles.

Does anyone know if this is true on the 1997 4runner?

Send a message via AIM to MTL_4runner
I believe that was only for 2nd gen 4runners.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
You can check the FSM for details if you have one.

I asked my buddy that works in the shop at my local Toy dealer and he said he knew nothing about it. Like it would matter for me with my 204K.

Here is a link to the original post . I posted the info. because I found it in my 95 (2nd gen) 4runner's manual. I have no idea what all years and makes it refers to. Read the service section of your owner's manual (if you have one) and you will know.

No Luck

I read the manual with a fine tooth comb - it says that warranty coverage ENDs at 80,000.

Thanks Guys
