Decal advice Please

Yep. If anything get a cool paint job. I know it cost more but if you're not going to do that than can the stickers. Good to see this site isn't afraid to be constructively critical

I think the only tasteful stuff I've seen is where all the decals are cut from the same color of vinyl and placed along the rocker panels/lower doors. I'd downsize them a bit also.
IMO - stick to what is actually in your rig/clubs you support. That Rock Ready thing is like putting a "Powered by V-TEC" on a Toy....

By the way painting your rims black looks good, I like the change. It looks great with all the other black on there. Sorry to harsh your import buzzz but ditch the decals dude, trust me
I'll second all of this, plus take off that cage thing over the hood. What's the point of it, to protect from falling rocks?

Colour matched grill, black mesh, plain decal on the windshield. removed the decals and blacked out the tires for a clean look.
Brand new rear back up lamps! Don't you like those red/clear tailights and the shaved rear tailgate?

I haven't really paid attention to this thread until lately and just decided to go through and read it. I don't think you should listen to these guys saying that your decals look like crap and too ricey. Granted, it was a little bit over the top, but if you're going to do stickers, it should match your vehicle. On mine, I need to go ahead and take off the stickers that I have. It was fun for a little while, but they're starting to fade and look worse. I also don't think that you really want a completely clean look or you would have already done it. Plus pics like these just look boring...
The first image, IMO was over the top but i do like the RockReady logo (if indeed you have their stuff). If you don't, i would not advertise for someone whose stuff i didn't use. I believe if you're not sponsored, you should use stickers as a way to tell everyone that you're happy with their products and think everyone else should use 'em too. Anyways, I kinda rambled a little but that's my 0.02

You know... In Pismo... I actually saw a truck with a yosh can...
I would leave all the dirtbike stuff off. I think it looks alright with the rockready sticker... I would probably only put that one on.

Here is my current lineup... I want to replace the Rockford Fosgate sticker with something, but I haven't found anything I like to replace it. I might get some tellico decals made since my tellico tested decal is going to go when I get my new bumper.

Yeah, what he said!
But I do not recomend buying the one thats for sale through cafepress.com I had it, and it bubbled up real bad and faded. I just took it off and am getting one made like the di-cut ones available. How could we forget about that one?? :pat:

Heck the paint job on it now doesn't even have a CLEAR COAT due to the fact the "Shine" from the clear coat would just accent all the dents and stuff.
Haven't figured out what Im doing with the stickers, been busy trying to finish the sliders and rear bumpers, and basement and other crap.
Oh and as for the Hood Guard, it will eventually tie into the Slider's and side protection, Kinda like a Lower Exo Cage.
Im gonna be doing something like 4rnr's design
Kinda like this

Heres what i had before....
I was helping a friend promote his new decal shop at a local meet up....only had for about a week and i took it off....the vinyl used was some kind of new metallic vinyl and depending on what angle you look at it, it reflects different colors at different angels...its pretty shinny when the sun hits it .......

Another vote for the "clean" look. Decals seem too braggy/bling for me, especially the bike stuff. It's like saying "look what I own" Here in northern nevada everyone does that with boarding gear and it seems so trendy.... The rig looks awesome in the photoshopped clean version and I'm sure can prove it's "rock ready" without having a sticker that states the obvious. I remember the first time I saw some photos of it I wished you didn't have the hood decals. That jeep looks ok but would look much better without all the "rice" decoration.
I wish my paint wasn't faded to hell or I'd ditch the stock decals on mine.
