Confirm 305cc Injector PN

Finally ready to pick up my 305cc injectors for my 2000 SC 4Runner. I have read through all the threads here on Yotatech and on Gadget's site regarding the 305cc injectors and want to confirm that the 23209-46031 is the recommended part number for a 2000 4Runner. I saw some postings that suggested that the fuel rail may be different on the 1999+ vehicles?

Second question regarding sourcing. I would like to buy new, dealer is quoting $170 ea. Anyone found better pricing?

Thanks,

more of a bumpa bump bump. i know 100% that some later '98's and all 99 up have a different part number for the injectors from earlier models, and would love to know if the fuel rail is different too. g/l

All 3 of these will fit fine:
23209-46031Red Top
23250-46030 Red Top
23250-46050 Blue Top

The red tops do not use the factory air injection. The blue tops do.

Was that a 23209-46050 or a 23250-46050 for the blue tops? The reason for asking is that the 23209 was quoted to me at the dealer for the 98 Supra NA. I also couldn't find the 23250-46050 on partznet.com.

Thanks for the clarification.

The blue tops I have are the ones I listed in my first post. I'm not sure what the difference is between the ones your dealer is listing, but the specs on the 2jz-ge havn't changed as far as I know (except for vvt-i). The first 5 numbers in a part number usually refers to a certain class of parts and the second 5 refers to the specific part. Notice that one of the red tops I listed has the same first 5 numbers as the one you listed.

Thanks,
are you asking if the fuel rail is the same in new and older 4runners? if so, then yes. i just pulled my 305's from my '97 and installed them in my 2000.

Yes. I wanted to know if the fuel rails had changed and therefore require different injectors. Sounds like I am good to go with any of these three:

23209-46031Red Top
23250-46030 Red Top
23250-46050 Blue Top

As soon as I get my 4runner back (see S/C Nose Gear Posting), I am ready to pickup the new injectors and get going!

Thanks

Hey Derrick if you're still under warranty I'd be discrete with your wiring when you install the piggyback so it's not too hard to revert your ecu to stock for warranty issues. What piggyback will you be using?

I'm using the FTC-1.
I installed it a little while ago in anticipation of the new injectors. My warranty runs out in 5K miles. I installed it to address the pinging and now the new injectors.

It is already at the dealer with the S/C issue (and the FTC-1), so far so good...

be very careful with choosing injectors that have air injection. most of the cheap injectors do not. Thats because they are for the older supras--93-97, the 98 supra has a different part number for the injectors than the others, thats the one you need because of the factory air injection holes. if you get some injectors without the factory air-injection holes, dont even bother trying to install them, they dont fit. i learned the hard way--

tim - they do fit - if you don't use the lowest grommet (the smaller one), the injectors snug down into the manifold nicely. i have 305cc injectors from a '95 in my 2000 now . . . no air-assist holes. i was also worried about the fact that they don't fit with the lowest grommet on, but Gadget assured me they would work, and sure enough, they do.
