Checked out a new Tacoma
Just looked at a Access Cab TRD model in Silver and they are starting to grow on me. Price on this one was around $28,700 and the double cab models were around $31,000.
I'm thinking about a test drive next week and of course it has to be the 6 speed version.

WOW.....
The Tacoma 4X4 DC Short Box Automatic I priced out was like $26,900 and something.... Privacy glass, fog lamps, cruise, power locks/windows/mirrors, chrome grille, steel wheels, single CD (standard), leather wrapped steering wheel/shifter.
I think it is the SR5 #3 Package, not sure....
I know it does not have the limited slip rear end or the e-locker, but I can have limited slip installed at a local shop for like $400 bucks.

Greetings,
I drove one last week, the Access Cab, with auto. I was standing next to the fender when I asked the guy for the key. He told me it was already running.
My advice, don't drive it unless you intend to buy one. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice!!!!!

No need for Bilstien shocks right now, I can live without the 6 disc changer and alloy rims.
Limited slip has worked for me..... Just have it added at a shop for $400 bucks.
And 31K? I would buy a new 4Runner... That was my intent, but I have waited to see what the new Tacoma was all about and I like the DC Short Box 4x4....
