Brembo Rotors
Are these the Brembo Rotors everyone wants? http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...lacement+Rotor
They look too cheap. I need to do my front brakes so I looked around and found these. Do I need them cross drilled and sloted or will these do just fine. BTW 97 4Runner Limited. I know I need the ones for 16" wheels, it just didn't have the pic for the link. Thanks for the help.

I recently had those installed along with the Hawk Street pads. Night and day difference. I couldn't be happier. However mind is a 2nd Gen and yours is a 3rd Gen. But you should notice a similar improvement. I didn't go with slotted or cross drill for fear of rocks/pebbles getting caught in them.

How do you like those Hawk pads? I just got mine in the mail yesterday, looking forward to getting them on.

actually i have a 04 Tundra.. eversince i bought it.. the brakes suck! Its a V6 5speed, so i shift down all the time with the brakes.. =T I will probably have the dealership upgrade my brake pads and if they have better rotors.. i will just use those that they have

Is it worth upgrading to brembo rotors and hawk pads? It's not an expensive upgrade which is the best part....reason I'm wondering because the discs on my Civic are all rusty.

Pretacopower. The Hawks pads are great. I never felt better brakes on the yota. Course some of it may be from the Goodridge stainless steel braided lines I had installed. I also had the rears done. I use NAPA parts on the rear. Now I don't even worry about quick stops any more. No fade.

I recently installed a set of Brembo replacement rotors and Hawk street pads from Tire Rack - what an amazing difference in real braking power! No more warped rotors. I've put about 5,000 miles on them and the braking is perfect.

I used the Brembo standard rotors and PF pads on my '00 4Runner. Certainly an improvement plus I don't worry about damaging the rotors like I used to during high speed braking.

Thanks for all the replies! I think next week I will order some of these up and go to the local Autozone and get me some of the PF pads. On a side note, this forum kicks ass. I only found this last week and allready I have got a ton of ideas and also questions answered. Thanks to all!!
