Charge the battery up. If it isn't holding 12.7 the next day (after you take the charger off) get a new one. Being run dead like that even once is really hard on an automotive battery.

Have seen many ECM's fried either partially or burned out by reversing the polarity on the battery( jump start). But on mostly older vehicles. Should have a saftey relay to protect the ECM. Get it all in writing anyway. Could be a bad diode in your alternator also( does the charge light stay dimly lit while engine is running)?
