I replaced 1 bulb about a year ago in my Dash. Does anyone know how many and what type of bulbs my 98 Tacoma 6 cil 4x4 has for the dash area? I want to replace all of them this time. apologise if this has been posted already.

Thanks very much. What is the best way to go about buying them. Does anyone on this site put kits together or have them in bulk? Or should I just go down to my local automotive shop and buy them. I do not know if thy sell them individually. Would you guys recommend replacing all of them? It is a big job taking that dash apart and I heard that most dealers will replace all when dash is apart.. So any recommendations appreciated.

If you're just going to replace them with stock bulbs, you can get those at your local parts store. If you're looking for LEDs to replace them with, most around here have used one of the following outlets:

autolumination.com
superbrightleds.com
vleds.com

I assume the dash of the 98 Tacoma is similar to that of the 4Runner. If it is, there are only a couple of screws holding the gauge bezel in place and a few holding the gauge cluster in place. It's pretty simple to get to the cluster and the lights.
