91 wheel bearing replacement questions

Im planning to replace my wheel bearings, but I have never done it to a 4x4. I have locking hubs and was wondering if I have to replace the gaskets and seals on the hubs. I know Im suppost to replace the seal behind the rotor. I also dont know what size the big adjusting nut is. Thanks.

I have done the wheel bearings on my 91 4x4 a couple of times. Yes, I would say replace everything you can while you have the thing apart. I didn't replace the gaskets and ended up have to do it all over again.

Also, the cones behind the hub nuts can be removed by TAPPING the hub spacer with a hammer.

I believe the size of those nuts is 2 1/8" or 54mm but I can't remember for sure.

Good luck.
