2nd gen ISR mod success PICTURES!!
Today I took a long lunch (4 hours) because (to the boss) I had car trouble, ( to you guys) I couldn't wait to finish the ISR mod I started yesterday. Its all done besides painting and man is it nice! I had the muff shop weld the pipe thread nuts to the outside of the pipe because I didn't like the Idea of having to explain to my wife why we have to pay to tear down the motor to retreive a nut caused by another one of my great ideas.
5" of rubber hose (I went to a boat shop and they had to charge me for a foot) $15
vacum hose fittings, hose clamps and pipe thread nuts $15
dryer ducting $10
muff shop pipe, welds and bends $20
At least $10 in gas running around trying to scrounge up allt he necassary components.
TOTAL $70

I just took some pics and i'll get them scanned in tomorrow but can I just post them? If not can somebody host them for me please.
RESULTS:
I love the added bark and freeway driving is much smoother. Less downshifting on passes etc.

In the second one you are looking through my airbox & fender and can see the carpet in my carage. I will be doing the deckplate mod before the rainy season though

Doink if you look at the second pic you can see where he drilled a round hole in the bottom of the airbox. I don't see how he's going to open and close the deckplate though once it's back in the truck since it'll be under the airbox against the fender.

I was actually thinking about mounting the deckplate to the fender to prevent the airbox from chugging water if its extremly rainy or I am going through water. I want to mount it so that I can just reach up in my wheel well and install/ remove the plate.
