I just took some pics and i'll get them scanned in tomorrow but can I just post them? If not can somebody host them for me please.
RESULTS: I love the added bark and freeway driving is much smoother. Less downshifting on passes etc.

In the second one you are looking through my airbox & fender and can see the carpet in my carage. I will be doing the deckplate mod before the rainy season though

mycotopian- what are you gonna use for your deckplate mod, because, to my knowledge, the actually deckplate mod cant be used for our 2nd gen air boxes |

Doink if you look at the second pic you can see where he drilled a round hole in the bottom of the airbox. I don't see how he's going to open and close the deckplate though once it's back in the truck since it'll be under the airbox against the fender.

yeah, i saw that, but i mean, it looks as if it would be too much of a hassle to unscrew and such when you wanted the deckplate on, or not. yaknow?

I was actually thinking about mounting the deckplate to the fender to prevent the airbox from chugging water if its extremly rainy or I am going through water. I want to mount it so that I can just reach up in my wheel well and install/ remove the plate.
