My best advice is be prepared to fall....the only way to learn is too fall every 5 feet the first 2-5 times down the hill....then all of a sudden like a miracle you'll get the hang of it....watch other peoples technics, just try to mimic them its like riding a bike or learning to walk, it take a couple tries but once you get the hang of it you'll like it....

I've only been skiiing a few times and I had the hang of it the first time I went, after I fell like 500 times, and if I can do it then ANYONE can...

Oh getting on and off the lifts is the most difficult part in my opinion....
