Built 87 Waggy Dana 44, Tacoma/Tundra 8.4
I've had my whole rolling chassis up for sale for a few days but no luck yet so I guess it's time to list this and see if I get any hits parting it out. Once I get these higher priced items gone the rest of the cab will follow.
1987 Waggy Dana 44 Non-Vacum. Left hand drop. 20k miles on all the new parts. Will need new ring and pinion as three of the ring gear teeth chipped on me(still rolls perfect but when put under a load it has a clunk) good on your part so you won't be losing anything setting up a different ratio.This axle has been set up for running the normal Tacoma SAS with a center pin to center pin width of 31.5", pinion was rotated up accordingly by turning the inner c's. It is set up with Yukon 5.13's and Yukon Master Install kit on a new carrier. Spider gears replaced with an Aussie Locker (will include spider gears and original carrier with sale). Custom 3/16" plate differential cover. Yukon 4340 Chromoly Axle shaft set with new Spicer 760x universals with a 4 years warranty left, Warn premium hubs. On to Steering, crossover steering setup with high steer arms and grade 8 hardware from 3sixty Inc..the tierod was fabricated by cutting a k1500 tierod down to size and sleeving it with 1/4" wall HREW making the tierod almost 1/2" wall. Hydraulic Assist is a 1.5"x8"x1" Swivel End Dual Acting Ram. The tierod ends are new also. New calipers, pads, rotors. I have all receipts and will consider parting these out.
With labor I've put over $2000 in this axle, I'll part with it for $1500 obo.
