Springtail M-Pack bags and racks

The company

Where I learned about them

Installing the rack in an FJ Cruiser

Putting the Molle bags onto the rack

Installation pictures

Springtail also makes these rack systems for Jeep owners.
I think it would be neat if they could offer them to more Toyota vehicles.
You might contact them to see if they plan on offering the rack system for other Toyotas in the future.

The bags alone though without the rack system can work in any rig.
In the FJ the combo pack gives you two bags up front in the front door pockets, one bag for the right rear compartment, and 4 bags that mount to the rack system.

My combo pack system arrives this coming Monday.

They came, I saw, I like.
Very high quality bags and rack.

Not sure if I will ever fill them up, there is a ton of room in each bag, and they expand.
Inside of each bag is a few partitions to separate stuff, pretty cool.

They also have the linings with the holes in them to drain water, you could use one for a shower/toiletry bag to hold stuff when out camping.
I have a nice backpacking one that holds all that stuff that could easily be transfered to one of these.

In the pics below the very top bag above the rack is the one that goes in the right rear compartment of the FJ where the factory subwoofer would go.

Below it is the two bags that go in the front doors.

The other four bags mount to the rack using the Molle mounting system straps.

Not sure when I will have a chance to pull my rear door panel off to mount the rack, that will take awhile.

I will update my rig build-up thread and website once it is all mounted.

EDIT:
Actually in my pics the bags up above with the rack with the two straps are not for the doors, they go on the rack.
The two smaller bags I have sitting on the rack are the ones for the doors.

It has been a long day

Those look pretty cool Corey. I wonder how easy it would be to mount something like that on the inside Roof of the canopy on my Tacoma or Trekker...
It looks like they took the Army/Marines Molle rucksack/vest system and made a very worthwhile adaptation for vehicle use...

That is exactly what they did.
In one of the pics above a guy even has a bag mounted to a bag.

I do not see why a rack like this would not work in your toppers.
You can contact them to find out, but all your gear will be upside down.

I will probably never fill all of these bags up either, but it is nice to have the bags to store future stuff.

I will mount my new two-ways I picked up awhile back to one of the bags like they did in this photo.
