Fall issue of Overland Journal gear "News from the trade"

Wow, as always, a great read.
The "new from the trade" section has some very cool new gear out.
I will link to some of the gear.

Surefire Saint headlamp

Trailcharge solar power panel

Now I dig the above.
It can keep an ARB/Engel fridge running by itself during the day, or just hook the unit up to your battery to keep it topped off while using a fridge for an extended trip.

Auspit
Battery operated BBQ cooker
Video on this page

Brunton Brewfire

Campchef Oven propane
Seen it before, but worth a posting again.

Cool stuff huh?
I really like the solar panel, will have to read up more on them.

Thats what duct tape is for

Duct tape does everything

After the local hooligans take it down

Ah yes the perfect recliner

A link to the 101 uses for duct tape plus or minus 70 or 80

that sure fire lamp is nice, a little pricey for my tastes (i like my Petzl MYO XP) but the dual power ,"AA" and Lithium CR123 is a nice feature. If it was only Lithium I would say forget it.
Only water proof to 1 meter, bummer no diving with it
I try to make sure all the electric crap I take hiking with me (GPS, flashlights, strobe) all run on 'aa's...

For small Bright Flashlights, I have got some Fenix Lights. Only place I have found them is ebay, but they are awesome for the money...

Corey is gonna need an expedition trailer to haul all the stuff UPS is gonna be dropping off over the next few weeks.

i think cabelas also sales a portable solar panel charger on their website, seems like a good idea for running a fridge/freezer so your not killing your battery when parked.
