I would buy a base model and build my own interior. That seems like a pretty good price. You can also find a lightweight 14' trailer for less in clean shape, but some people i just dont like to tow.

Are these to big for an '86 on up Toyota bed, or would something like this fit?
I kind of like them if I had a truck. The other alternative is a roof top tent setup, but that will end up costing more after you get brackets made and the tent like this one. http://www.yotatech.com/50923396-post64.html It depends on what you want to do with the rig, and which route to take. Either way is a good way to camp. Advantage to something like the Capri is your gear would be stowed out of the weather, but you can do that with a standard canopy too and add a roof top tent to it. http://www.yotatech.com/50923514-post66.html

oh wow, guess when I said camper shells i should have left out the camper part, i still wanna wheel my beast
lol, but thanks for the thought corey I actually saw a couple oldskool toyota chassis cabs with really cool campers on them for 4500-6500 that would be kool. I love the whole canback with a tent on top of it, seems to me like it wouldnt hold the weight though, unless they did something to enforce it..

Scuba, the CanBacks have an internal frame built in, very nice as they can hold plenty of weight.
If I had a truck I would fix it up like the Serra Expedition one. http://www.can-back.com/ ![]() If you are looking for a bed platform for a canopy, here is one from the Tech section. http://www.yotatech.com/f129/sleepin...-trucks-83758/
