where does this vaccum line go?



on the black vaccum canister, second line, closet to the fire wall/bulk head. Mine just has a disconected line just hanging out in there

thanks, just bought it today for 2400 from orginal owner. now i can't seem to stay off of yotatech.com

lol welcome to the club. you will learn more then you ever wanted to and you wallet will never be the same again.... do you have any more specs on it?

Line towards the front should run to a hard line which leads to the fuel tank. Rear line runs behind the engine to a bi-metal vacuum switching valve, then to the throttle body. The valve would be a good thing to check when you do the valve cover gaskets. Good luck being able to even see the thing with the intake chamber on.

What mtnfreak said, its called a charcoal canister.
