Engine locked up?
J/k Probably just a dead battery. Take your battery to a parts store and have it tested. If it's good, then look for loose or broken grounds or bad starter. Have you tried to jump it off? |

it turned over.
i checked my battery was good, i have the optima yellow top. imma redo my grounding. i probably kicked something loose. how long would a starter last. i was thinking that too. i have 75k miles 1997 4runner limited. Last edited by linjy2; 04-28-2005 at 04:10 PM. |

Yeah I'd say it's your starter, I had a similar problem with my intergra it would click and if I kept trying to start it would eventually turn over.

you could probably get a used one for a good price, that's what I had to end up doing, had no problems after that.

This is a very common problem. Try searching and you'll find a $10 solution.
