So a buddy ordered the marlin backing plate eliminator kit, to remove the rotor backing plate for his axle. He says that the kit came with 4 eliminator rings.

I have looked left an right, and everywhere I search, I only see that the kit comes with 2 eliminator rings...

Curious if the kit should have 4 so as to be a space and eliminator, or if marlin accidently doubled up his order...

Thoughts?

You only need 2 rings.

Yep, I only got two, he lucked out.

Thanks guys, Yeah I could only see him needing two from what I read also, but wasnt sure, since some people just drill out the spot welds on their stock backing plate, I thought maybe one was a spacer and the other replaced the backing plate.

I think your buddy received the HD knuckle seal retainers kit (4 plates required) and not the backing plate eliminator kit (2 plates required).
