I have gone there many times. It is a fun place to just take it easy. Also to watch all the crazy mud runners. With all the rain this year it probably won't be open until May. At least most of it.

Ok well I was surfing around on google and found a rather official looking page about azusa canyon that said you HAD to have 4WD to enter the OHV area....which is rather problematic to me as my yota is 2WD.....is there any truth to this?

Lol I like your train of thought. So any idea when its gonna be open? Because I was up there about two weeks ago and it was closed along with every other dirt road on GMR which really sucked because I was hoping to find some fun trails around here.

they r realy strict about NO 2wd , when i went they actually checked to see my 4wd shifter i was surprised... and they also state that you can not park a 2wd in ther parking lot, the lot is for tow vehicles only.. i had a friend and his 2wd toyota was turned back...we parked it down the mountan at a friends house and he rode wh me.....its a nice small park. and i beleve they r only open on the weekend and it like$ 10 a truck, and thy close at 430 or sunset whichever one is first.

As much as I would love to go I wouldn't be able to get in I already tried and the 2WD thing didn't fly...stupid park ranger plus I just developed a rod knock so I might be goin back down the hill on a flatbed I figure i'll just drive it till it grenades on me lol
Oh and does anybody on here live close enough to banning/beaumont to justify goin wheelin there? I'd lived there for most of my life before I moved to azusa and I know an assload of good trails from nice little putt around roads to some wicked tipsy stuff. If anybody wants to hit some of it up pm me and we'll set somethin up.
